The Calhoun County Museum & Cultural Center's Summer Children's Program Grand Finale

July 26, 2017

The Calhoun County Museum & Cultural Center finished out their summer children's program Monday with a special presentation of Fun With Characters: Kindness.  In a remix of the Brothers Grimm classic, Rapunzel and her prince taught children the importance of manners and especially showing kindness to others.

Children's programs such as this are offered throughout the year; teaching and entertaining children through interesting and engaging characters.

But the museum and cultural center does so much more to serve this community.  Adult programs are also held.  The next is Thursday, August 10.  It is a special, after-hour’s event designed to address your treasure or clutter issues.  Sandi Davis, a professional organizer, will be at the Cultural Center to explain and teach you how to get and stay organized.  If you have ever wondered how to tame the incoming mail, make better use of your closet space, or decide which papers to keep and which to throw away this is the workshop for you.  A Meet and Greet will begin at 5:45 with light refreshments and the program begins at 6:00p.m.  Call Amanda Lee at 803-874-3964 to reserve your spot. Space is limited!

Enjoy this montage of Monday's program.
