The weekend began on Friday, June 23rd, with a Meet and Greet at the Fairfield Inn in Lithonia, GA. Reconnecting with classmates was the highlight of the evening and each graduate received a bag of “goodies” that included a 50th Birthday Bash t-shirt.

Saturday, June 24th, was a full day visiting the Martin Luther King Center and the birth home of the civil rights icon for which the center is named. All this followed by lunch at The Varsity, a landmark restaurant in Atlanta. Although the plans changed from the intended hike/railcar ride to the top of Stone Mountain due to rains, a great time was had by all.

Saturday evening was the 50th Birthday Bash and All White Party at the home of classmate Windy Keller Nicholson in Johns Creek, GA. All of the graduates were dressed in white and the ladies wore tiaras; an impressive group of stylishly dressed individuals! The group shared great conversation over dinner with dancing afterward. Again, a very fun time!

Classmates gathered from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington. Seattle, Washington is the home of the graduate who traveled the greatest distance.
