Working tirelessly to place homeless cats and dogs found within our county boarders, can be exhausting and exhilarating. But it is a love for animals and desire to see them find their “forever homes” that drives the folks that work at Calhoun County Animal Control.
Shawn Smith, Cheryl Price and Ron Gibson (Director of Animal Control) were recognized at the November 27, 2017 Calhoun County Council meeting for their outstanding efforts in this area.
Also addressed during the council meeting was the upcoming installation of security cameras at the shelter, closing dates in December for shelter maintenance, and free adoptions through December 18.
