Calhoun County Sheriff Thomas Summers and several of his deputies have raised over $4,000.00 again this year to raise money for Christmas gifts for needy children in Calhoun County.
According to the Sheriff, several of the deputies spent a lot of their own time raising money, purchasing gifts, and wrapping the gifts. Their efforts resulted in 55 children being able to have a memorable Christmas.
“It’s a special time of the year and I am grateful for the deputies’ hard work and the citizens that donated to make this Christmas special for many children in our County that might not otherwise had gifts”.
